As we close out the first semester of the 2025–2026 school year, we are proud to celebrate the academic progress and success of our Filling The Lane (FTL) student-athletes. Across multiple schools and grade levels, our members have demonstrated remarkable commitment, discipline, and excellence both in the classroom and on the court.
This semester, the average program GPA among FTL members stands at 3.42, a reflection of the consistency, determination, and focus our students show every single day. Many of our members have earned A’s and B’s across core subjects such as English, Algebra, Biology, and World History, a strong start that speaks volumes about their drive to succeed.

These achievements remind us that the true spirit of FTL is not just about playing the game, it’s about building character, developing discipline, and preparing for lifelong success. Each report card, every improved grade, and each milestone reached is the result of effort, teamwork, and support from coaches, mentors, parents, and teachers who believe in our mission.
To recognize this milestone, FTL will host a special dinner and recognition night for all students who earned Honor Roll or Principal’s List status. This event is more than just an awards night; it’s a celebration of effort, perseverance, and leadership. Our student-athletes have set a powerful example of what it means to lead with integrity, balance, and purpose both in academics and athletics.
At FTL, we believe in the whole student. Our program is built around consistent monitoring, mentoring, and academic support. From grade checks and weekly progress reports to tutoring sessions and accountability meetings, we make sure every student knows that we are fully invested in their growth, not just in sports, but in life.

We are incredibly proud of each of our FTL scholars for their hard work, improvement, and leadership this semester. You are showing that success comes from staying disciplined, focused, and faithful to your goals.
Congratulations to all; your hard work is paying off, and this is only the beginning of even greater things ahead!
THE CELEBRATION
FTL Scholars Celebrate Success at Aria’s Steakhouse
Last night, our Filling The Lane (FTL) student-athletes came together for a well-deserved celebration dinner at Aria’s Steakhouse in downtown Winter Haven. The evening honored our members for their outstanding first-trimester academic performance, leadership, and dedication both on and off the court.

With an average program GPA above 3.4, these young men have proven that excellence doesn’t stop at athletics , it starts in the classroom. Over great food and conversation, we reflected on the importance of discipline, balance, and brotherhood, the values that define what it means to be part of Filling The Lane.
At FTL, we believe in celebrating hard work, consistency, and growth. This dinner wasn’t just about grades; it was about recognizing the mindset that drives success. When our students win academically, they win in life.
Special thanks to Aria’s Steakhouse for their warm hospitality and support of our mission to bridge the gap between education, sports, arts, and community. The night was filled with laughter, gratitude, and motivation to keep pushing forward.
Proud is an understatement, our FTL scholars are leading by example, and this is only the beginning.

Thanks to Aria’s Steakhouse for a warm accommodation
