At Filling The Lane, every partnership matters—but some represent a powerful step forward in our mission to create access, opportunity, and long-term success for the young people we serve. We’re proud to announce a new community partnership with Warner University, built on shared values and a commitment to student growth both on and off the court.
“Our mission has always been about opening doors for students who have the talent and the drive, but not always the access,” said Dr. Vincent M. Miller, Founder of Filling The Lane. “This partnership with Warner University shows what’s possible when higher education believes in the potential of our youth and chooses to invest in them.”
About Warner University
Warner University is a Christ-centered institution in Lake Wales, Florida, known for its focus on academic excellence, character development, and athletics. Through its athletic programs, Warner has consistently invested in developing student-athletes who are prepared for life beyond sports.

What This Partnership Means
Through this collaboration, a Filling The Lane student-athlete will receive a partial $13,000 scholarship along with an opportunity to be part of Warner University’s development team. This creates a pathway that combines higher education, athletic development, and mentorship—three pillars that are central to the Filling The Lane mission.
This partnership grew out of conversations with Sean Hanrahan, Director of Athletics at Warner University, whose openness and vision made it clear that Warner believes in investing in potential, not just performance. The opportunity reflects trust in our program and in the young people we serve.
More Than a Scholarship
For Filling The Lane families, this partnership represents hope. It shows what’s possible when educational institutions and community organizations work together to remove barriers and create real opportunities. It also reinforces our commitment to walking with students beyond high school—helping them navigate college access, athletics, and life after graduation.
“This isn’t just about one student,” Dr. Miller added. “It’s about creating a model where community programs and universities work together to change trajectories for entire families.”
Looking Ahead
This partnership is just the beginning. We believe it will open doors for future student-athletes and strengthen the bridge between community programs and higher education.
We’re grateful to Warner University for believing in our mission and our students—and to our supporters who make moments like this possible.
Together, we’re filling the lane toward a brighter future.
