Making a Difference Together: Thank you for your great support
What a wonderful time we had at our Back to School Bash, hosted by Filling The Lane and Van Dyke Barbershop! I always say my mom is the most giving person I know, and she truly proved it once again. She was determined to provide 100 pairs of shoes for the event, saying, “If I wouldn’t put them on you, I won’t put them on anyone.” Thanks to her generous donation, along with contributions from friends, family, and our amazing community, we were able to provide over 100 pairs of shoes today.
This event was a true reflection of what community is all about—coming together to support one another. A huge thank you to Chino Barber for opening up his space and providing free haircuts! A big shoutout to Candice Hackett for stepping in for the girls, Shelbey Woodard for bringing the bounce house, and Sabrina Young, along with all my mom's friends, for your incredible support and hard work.
Together, we’ve shown that when a community comes together, we can make a big difference.
